APAG Steps Up: Driving Action Ahead of the Final SSEN Consultations
We are building momentum! A highly productive meeting took place with Douglas Lumsden MSP, Councillor Tracy Smith, and Caroline Farquhar representing Tess White MSP. We deeply appreciate our elected officials taking the time from their busy schedules to hear the growing concerns of our communities.
With the final SSEN consultations fast approaching, we must take every possible step to engage directly with the Scottish Government. They must understand the devastating consequences of SSEN’s proposals—on our communities, businesses, and the crucial seed potato industry which contributes 77% of all production to the UK.
Now is the time to amplify our voices and take action! Stay tuned to our Facebook page—we have a series of critical activities planned in the coming weeks to ensure your voice is heard. Together, we’ve already made an impact, achieving record-breaking objections to the recent substation applications. We expect nothing less than an overwhelming negative response in the next round of SSEN consultations.
We are making a difference. We will be heard. Let’s keep pushing forward!
