Happy New Year from APAG!

2024 has been an incredible year, and we owe it all to the tireless efforts of our members and the unwavering support of our community. Together, we’ve achieved so much in our fight to protect our local landscape and stand up against SSEN's plans.

We ensured SSEN felt the depth of local feeling by attending every consultation day, distributing thousands of leaflets both at events and door to door. In March, over 200 of you packed the room at our community meeting in Forfar, raising your voices in a powerful display of unity and determination—it was truly inspiring to witness! APAG also continued to spread our message far and wide, appearing in print, on TV, and on the radio.

From the Kirriemuir Show to other agricultural events, we raised awareness and vital funds, keeping the pressure on throughout the year. Joining forces with other groups, we took our message directly to Holyrood and even managed a visit to SSEN HQ!

APAG continues to engage with politicians, host public meetings, scrutinize SSEN’s proposals, explore alternatives, and distribute information to resist these developments. We urge everyone to get involved by donating, volunteering, and voicing objections to the proposed plans.
