Update on SSEN Consultation and Next Steps

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during SSEN’s consultation, which is now closed. Here's what to expect next:

  • Awaiting Planning Submissions: SSEN is preparing to submit plans to Angus Council for the proposed Emmock substation and to Aberdeenshire Council for the Hurlie substation.

  • Implications for Overhead Lines: Halting these substations will significantly affect the associated overhead lines.

APAG will share detailed guidance on how to object once these plans are formally submitted. Stay tuned for updates and instructions on how you can take action.
